In August of 2008 Joe recorded with Auggie Meyers and Flaco Jimenez, of The Texas Tornados, on a soon to be released tribute cd to Doug Sahm.
Tattoo Laredo is an album Joe recorded in 1992 at a studio in Houston that has never been released. Post production began in late 2008 with distribution and marketing being set sometime in 2009.
